With RevealSmile™ Teeth Whitening, your teeth can get shades lighter in just one quick session thanks to a patented teeth whitening system that uses a bleaching gel activated by a special light to effectively remove years of stains (taking years off your face in the process).
How it works
RevealSmile™ is a patented teeth-whitening system that uses a peroxide-based bleaching gel which is activated by a special light to quickly and effectively remove stains and discoloration. The light delivery system causes the hydrogen peroxide in the gel to be broken down so that oxygen is released directly into the teeth, removing the stains completely. The intensity created by the light allows RevealSmile™ to use a neutral pH peroxide to decrease tooth sensitivity and irritation associated with other peroxide-based teeth-whitening methods.
During your treatment, the gel will be applied to patented foam pads that are placed into pressure pockets of a mouth tray. The pads create the snug fit necessary to push the peroxide into the structure of the teeth. As the peroxide breaks down the stains, the foam pads attract the stain material, so when you remove the pads, you also remove the stains.
What to expect:
- Results are immediate!
- Treatment time is a total of 35 minutes, which includes two fifteen-minute treatment intervals
- Short-term side effects may include tooth sensitivity or gum blanching, both of which subside quickly.
- RevealSmile™ may be less effective for teeth stained by tetracycline.
- Veneers, crowns or fillings may experience uneven lightening because dental fixtures do not whiten along with the rest of the teeth.
