Resolve™ Stretch Mark Therapy
Stretching is great in yoga class and after a long run, but not when it comes to your skin. Case in point: stretch marks, the tiny tears created anytime your skin needs to stretch quickly.

Resolve™ Stretch Mark Therapy
Stretch marks truly are the great equalizer—they affect the large majority of adults and men are as likely to have them as women. Why? Because they’re caused by something as basic and unavoidable as growth. If growth spurts during adolescence don't create these tiny skin tears, they will form at any time in your life when you suddenly get bigger, whether your stretched skin comes from bulging muscle, fat or pregnancy (ninety percent of women get stretch marks while they are pregnant.) Stretch marks are a sign that your skin is doing whatever is necessary to accommodate your growing body.
Nothing will completely remove stretch marks, but Reveal’s new Resolve™ Stretch Mark Therapy can significantly reduce the damaged tissue, helping it blend with the surrounding healthy skin and dramatically improving its appearance.
Stretch marks come in an array of textures and colors, and Resolve™ is effective at treating all of them: hyper-pigmented (reddish or purple), hypo-pigmented (white or silvery), flat and textured (crepey or wrinkly). The success of the outcome is highly dependent upon the type, size, thickness and age of the stretch marks. Newer stretch marks respond best to treatment, while older stretch marks that are larger and/or depressed require more treatments and may not completely resolve.
How it works:
Fractional resurfacing produces microthermal zones within the area, causing “fractional” thermal damage much like pixels in a digital camera. Just think of your skin as a digital photo that is being touched-up or restored one small area at a time, pixel by pixel. Because only 20 to 30 percent of the tissue is targeted during each treatment, the skin surrounding these microthermal zones is not injured, allowing healing to take place quickly and without creating a visible wound. Repeated treatments create additional microthermal zones, until the entire affected area is treated.
If the stretch marks are hyperpigmented, FotoRenu™ treatments may be added so that the intense pulsed light can treat discoloration issues.
Best results are achieved with a series of at least five treatments, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart.
What to expect:
- Redness post-treatment
- Sunbathing must be avoided during treatment
- Multiple treatments needed for best results
- No significant downtime
- Nonsurgical
