Available exclusively at Reveal, RapidGraft™ is a revolutionary automated hair transplant and restoration program that employs the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) technique, the latest hair transplant technology to date. The FUE technique is less invasive than the traditional STRIP method. Unlike the STRIP method, RapidGraft™ requires no cutting of the scalp. Because there is no cutting, there is no suturing, no visible scarring, very little bleeding and almost immediate recovery time.
Follicular Unit Extraction is the newest transplant procedure available today and does not involve any incisions like the STRIP method. The FUE method involves the removal of individual hair follicles from the scalp, in their naturally occurring groupings of about 1-4 hairs. The follicles are then transplanted into the balding area. It is the least-invasive hair restoration procedure available, with the fewest complications and the most natural-looking results.
How it works:
RapidGraft™ combines the FUE method with automated controlled pneumatic pressure (suction) to slide out the follicle smoothly. Unlike manual FUE, this protocol eliminates the pulling and twisting associated with the use of tweezers during extraction since that puts the follicle at risk for damage. Eliminating manual extraction also allows us to treat more people, including those individuals who would not be good candidates for manual FUE based on certain physical conditions such as deeply embedded follicles, thicker or tougher skin. Not only are the the follicles extracted by the RapidGraft™ method of an excellent quality, but the enhanced speed of the transplant allows follicles to be re-implanted sooner, which keeps them more robust, increasing the success of the grafting process.
Additionally, RapidGraft™ involves less complications from surgery (mostly invisible scarring) unlike other methods that results in elongated scarring and reduced healing time.
