LipoShape™ Non-Surgical Fat Reduction is a type of non-surgical liposuction -- an innovative, lunchtime lipo procedure that safely produces a smoother, sleeker silhouette with no effort and no downtime.

Because of the way we're genetically designed to distribute fat over our bodies, spot reduction through exercise or dieting is virtually impossible. Also called lipodissolve and injection lipolysis, LipoShape™ is specially designed to target deposits of stubborn localized fat in the abdomen, upper arms, back, thighs, buttocks, face, chin, jowls and neck.

The result is a significant loss of inches in the exact areas where you need it most. Plus LipoShape™ works just as well on men as it does on women, with the greatest male success in the chin, upper and lower abs and love handles.

How do you know if LipoShape™ is right for you? The ideal candidate is someone who is in good health, exercises regularly, is within 50 pounds of his or her ideal weight, has a BMI of 30 or less and has one or more areas of localized body fat deposits which have poorly responded to diet and exercise. It's important to remember that LipoShape™ is not a weight-loss tool, and best results are seen when the area to be treated truly is a fat deposit that is disproportionate to a person's overall appearance (such as love handles or saddlebags that protrude and resist exercise). If you do not fall into these weight parameters, you may still be a candidate for face or neck treatments.

LipoShape™ is not recommended for anyone who is allergic to soy, as the compound is soy based. If you are nursing or pregnant, you should not have treatments. You can find a full list of medical conditions that would not allow for LipoShape™ treatments in the LipoShape™ FAQ in this section.

LipoShape™ relies on many micro-injections of a compound containing a natural soy-derived substance called phosphatidylcholine and a B vitamin complex. These natural substances have been used medically since 1959 to dissolve fat from the liver and vascular system.

Treatment involves a series of LipoShape™ injections, approximately ½ inch deep and ½ inch apart, into the unwanted areas of fat. LipoShape™ mixes with the lipids on the fat cell membrane, providing a detergent-like action on the oily membrane and internally stored fat. This causes fat cells to fully burst, releasing their content. Once the fat has been "melted", it is naturally eliminated by the body. Best results are achieved with a series of customized treatments, spaced at least six weeks apart.
