Unlike other resurfacing peels that required significant downtime, this age-defying treatment leaves you able to face the world immediately, with just the redness of a sunburn. Results are both immediate and progressive.
How it works:
A laser beam is split into thousands of microscopic treatment zones, selectively heating tiny dots of skin (the pixilated effect, much like that in a photograph, isn't visible to the naked eye). Healthy new skin cells quickly fill the damaged areas in between treated spots, so healing is much faster than when the whole top layer of skin is removed (like in traditional high-powered resurfacing peels). Fresh, new skin is visible within a few days of the procedure, and skin appears younger, smoother and more vibrant within several weeks. Best results are achieved with a series of five treatments, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart.
